What this site collects, and what it does not.
This website is operated by Genloop LLC, 4500 Mercantile Plaza, Suite 300, Fort Worth, Texas 76137, United States. Questions about anything on this page can go to [email protected].
This site sets no cookies. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and no marketing script that follows you elsewhere. The usage measurement described below keeps its working data in your browser's session storage, which belongs to the open tab and is cleared when you close it, so nothing about your visit persists on your device and you have not been asked to dismiss a consent banner.
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, in what order, where people pause, which buttons and links are clicked, and whether the contact and sell forms are completed. For this it records page views, clicks and scrolling, the type of browser and device, the screen size, the page that linked to us, and the approximate location derived from your network address. The network address itself is discarded on receipt and is not stored. Because the data lives in session storage, a return visit is a new visitor to us: we cannot recognise you across visits, and we do not link what we see to a name or an email address.
PostHog also replays sessions for us. A replay reconstructs what a page looked like and how it was used, where the pointer went, what was scrolled and what was clicked, so that we can see where the site is unclear and fix it. Anything typed into a form is masked before it leaves your browser and never appears in a replay. Replays are kept for 30 days. PostHog, Inc. processes this data for us on servers in the United States under our instructions.
Separately, we use Apollo.io's website visitor service to learn which organisations visit the site. It matches the network address a visit comes from against business records to suggest a company name, and tells us which pages that company's visitors read. It identifies organisations, not individuals: we have not switched on its option to identify people, and we do not combine it with anything you type. Apollo.io processes the network address for this purpose on our behalf in the United States. We use what it tells us to decide which companies to get in touch with about equipment they may need or have.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, neither service runs.
The site is hosted and served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and time of request in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this.
If you write to us through the form on the Contact page, you choose what to send. We receive your name, your email address, and anything else you type, including a company name and phone number if you supply them. Submissions are delivered to us by Formspree, which acts as our processor and passes the message to our email.
We use what you send only to respond to you and to evaluate the matter you have raised. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing. Where an enquiry concerns a specific asset or transaction, your message and our correspondence may be retained as part of that deal record, in line with our ordinary business and legal retention obligations. If an enquiry does not lead anywhere, we retain it only as long as is useful for context on future contact.
Our email runs on Google Workspace. Correspondence you send to a genloop.energy address is stored there.
Discretion is the point of how we work. Asset details, ownership, and the fact of a discussion are treated as confidential and are not published or passed on without the counterparty's agreement, and are frequently governed by a signed non-disclosure agreement.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will deal with it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
